Position Summary

The Extra Help Assistant is responsible for providing unskilled, semi‑skilled labor or performing basic office tasks in a state agency or institution. This position supports students and faculty within the Student Success & Leadership Development department.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a peer mentor and assist students with navigating college life;
• Attend all mandatory training and meetings throughout the term;
• Facilitate discussions with student mentees twice a month;
• Become familiar with various resources on campus;
• Inform supervisor of any student concerns;
• Create and participate in opportunities to support student mentees;
• Regularly attend Trojan Leadership Fellows Program events;
• Perform other duties as assigned.
