Job summary

Wellington Management seeks an External Wholesaler, Sub‑Advised Insurance Distribution, to drive growth across insurance platforms and sub‑advisory relationships. You will deepen carrier relationships and expand Wellington solutions within insurance-based investment products.

You will collaborate with Relationship Managers, Product, Investments, Marketing, and senior leadership to deliver a coordinated client experience and support long‑term growth in the insurance channel.

Qualifications

• Insurance distribution expertise across carrier models and variable annuity platforms.
• Proven sales leadership and territory management in financial services.
• Ability to build partnerships with distribution teams and wholesalers.
• Strong capital markets knowledge; ability to translate insights to opportunities.
• Experience delivering value-add presentations and practice management.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and adoption of Wellington strategies within insurance platforms.
• Develop and maintain relationships with home office teams and distribution leaders.
• Partner with distributors and field sales to increase awareness of Wellington strategies.
• Deliver investment presentations, market insights, and portfolio reviews.
• Collaborate with Product, Investments, Marketing, and RM teams to grow business.
• Represent the firm at conferences, due diligence meetings, and client engagements.
• Provide market intelligence on industry trends and opportunities in insurance channel.
