We are seeking an External Wholesaler, Sub‑Advised Insurance Distribution, to support the growth of Wellington's investment capabilities across insurance platforms and sub‑advisory relationships. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing territory‑based distribution strategies, deepening relationships with insurance carriers and affiliated distribution organizations, and increasing adoption of Wellington solutions within insurance‑based investment products.
The role serves as a key commercial representative of the firm within the insurance ecosystem, partnering closely with insurance company home office teams, product organizations, distribution partners, and field sales professionals. Success will be measured through relationship expansion, platform penetration, field activity, and the ability to position Wellington's investment capabilities across variable annuity and related sub‑advised structures.
The External Wholesaler will collaborate closely with Relationship Managers, Product, Investments, Marketing, and senior leadership to deliver a coordinated client experience and support long‑term growth objectives across the insurance channel.

Our approach to compensation considers all aspects of total compensation; all employees are eligible to receive salary, variable compensation, and benefits. The base salary range for this position is:
USD 120,000 - 225,000
This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; role; skills and experience; certifications; and education. This range is an estimate, and further details on salary and total compensation aspects will be shared with candidates during the recruitment process.
Base salary is only one component of Wellington’s total compensation approach. Other rewards may include a discretionary Corporate Bonus and/ or Incentives, if eligible.
