Job summary

Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking an External Sanitation to join our team. You will ensure products are manufactured in a clean, sanitary environment complying with federal, state, and PCNA guidelines, while supporting safety and quality programs.

Day-to-day responsibilities include cleaning processing and non-processing equipment, maintaining sanitation logs, and performing other duties as assigned. Applicants should have a high school diploma and relevant experience, with forklift

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One (1) year production or janitorial experience preferred.
  • Chemical safety and Good Manufacturing Practices background preferred.
  • Basic math skills required.

External Sanitation Role Overview

Assures that products are manufactured in a clean and sanitary environment that complies with federal, state, and PCNA guidelines.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Externally cleans and sanitizes processing equipment.
  • Cleans non-processing equipment.
  • Maintains sanitation logs and reports to document plant and equipment cleaning.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One (1) year production or janitorial experience preferred.
  • Chemical safety and Good Manufacturing Practices background preferred.
  • Basic math skills required.
  • Good written and oral communication skills required.
  • Must be able to successfully complete forklift certification.
  • Must be able to follow written procedures.
  • Able to read and understand chemical use instructions and precautions.
  • Must enjoy working off-shifts and in a wet environment.
  • Attention to detail and safety.
  • Must be able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.
