Job description

Job Title: Analyst

The Analyst assists in the preparation, coordination, and analysis of SEC filings (10-Q/Ks, 8-Ks, bond offerings, etc.) to ensure accurate and complete information is released and filing deadlines are met. This role also involves reviewing and analyzing the company's financial results to facilitate the monthly close process, including general ledger account analyses.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Assist in preparing, coordinating, and analyzing quarterly SEC filings.
2. Perform technical research to resolve accounting and reporting issues as needed.
3. Assist with Investor Relations projects.
4. Prepare quarterly reporting schedules supporting financial statements and footnotes.
5. Coordinate with management to gather necessary data.
6. Review Investor Relations' quarterly earnings release, call script, and investor presentations.
7. Work with external auditors to facilitate quarterly reviews and annual audits of SEC filings.
8. Prepare disclosure checklists.
9. Generate ad-hoc reports and analyses as requested by management.
10. Participate in Sarbanes-Oxley compliance processes.

Required Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Public Accounting or a corporate environment; Big Four experience preferred.
• CPA is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge of US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley.
• Understanding of financial calculations and reporting requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Knowledge of Workiva's Wdesk system.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud or similar ERP systems is preferred.
