Job description

The Analyst assists in preparation, coordination, and related analyses of SEC filings (10-Q/Ks, 8-Ks, bond offerings, etc.) to ensure that information released is accurate and complete, and that filing deadlines are met. This position also assists in reviewing and analyzing the financial results of the company to facilitate the monthly close process, including general ledger account analyses.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

1. Assist in preparation, coordination, and analyses of quarterly SEC filings.
2. Perform technical research to resolve accounting and reporting issues.
3. Assist with investor relations projects.
4. Prepare quarterly reporting schedules supporting financial statements and footnotes.
5. Coordinate with management to gather necessary data.
6. Review investor relations' quarterly earnings release, call script, and investor presentations.
7. Work with external auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits of SEC filings.
8. Prepare disclosure checklists.
9. Generate ad-hoc reports and analyses as needed by management.
10. Participate in Sarbanes-Oxley compliance processes.

Required Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in public accounting or a corporate environment; Big Four experience preferred.
• CPA is preferred.

• Knowledge of US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley.
• Understanding of financial calculations and reporting requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and in teams.
• Knowledge of Workiva’s Wdesk system.
• Experience with Oracle Cloud or similar ERP systems is preferred.
