Job summary

Georgetown University’s Baratta Center for Global Business Education seeks an Associate Director of External Relations & Center Operations. You will build corporate partnerships, engage alumni, recruit Advisory Board members, and manage center operations, ensuring rigor and coherence across activities.

The role collaborates with Program leadership and Communications to create strategic messaging and high-impact programs for students and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3–5 years of experience in business development, institutional relations, client management, consulting, or related field.
• Exposure to public sector, policy, or government environments.
• Demonstrated track record of building and managing senior external relationships with tangible outcomes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including drafting partner pitches and executive materials.
• Strong organizational and process management skills; ability to build and maintain operational systems.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Experience with AI tools highly desirable.
• Substantive knowledge of geopolitics and/or international business highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage corporate partnerships and alumni networks.
• Support Advisory Board activities and recruit members.
• Oversee Center operations and institutional infrastructure to ensure compliant, efficient functioning.
• Collaborate with Programs, Student Experience, and Marketing for external communications and materials.
• Translate partner updates and alumni stories into impactful content for stakeholders.
