Job summary

AnnieMac Home Mortgage is hiring a full-time External Mortgage Loan Originator to establish referral relationships with real estate professionals and other external sources, generating a steady flow of loan volume.

You will work primarily off-site while visiting realtors, attend closings and seminars, collect borrower information, pre-qualify, counsel on loan products, and guide clients through credit and closing costs; a state license is required.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and networking abilities to develop referral sources.
• Ability to analyze borrower finances to pre-qualify and determine loan affordability.
• Knowledge of mortgage products, pricing, underwriting guidelines, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business by building relationships with realtors, title/escrow officers, and other professionals.
• Conduct lead-generation activities such as closings, open houses, and seminars.
• Collect borrower documents, complete loan applications, and provide disclosures.
• Counsel borrowers on loan products, closing costs, and monthly payments.
