AT&T seeks a motivated State Policy & Community Affairs Intern for a 10-12 week summer program based in Dallas, TX. You will collaborate with Legislative, Public Affairs, and Regulatory teams to support external affairs priorities.

You will gain hands-on exposure to leadership, participate in workshops, and attend community events while developing research, writing, and policy analysis skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Rising senior or recent graduate with preferred degree concentration.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; ability to draft presentations.

This is a full-time onsite role based in the location(s) posted and is performed from the designated work location five days per week. No relocation is offered.

The State Policy and Community Affairs internship opportunity with the External & Legislative Affairs department is designed for highly qualified undergraduate students and recent graduates interested in future leadership opportunities. During this 10-12 week summer program, you’ll gain hands‑on experience working with industry leaders by way of a multitude of opportunities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Teams etc.)
• Strong research, analytical, and writing skills, with interest in emerging technologies, including AI, and digital tools
• Ability to draft presentations and correspondence for internal and external audiences
• Strong prioritization, time management, and organizational skill
• Aptitude to respond to ambiguity and complexity
• Capacity to be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced, fluid environment
• Passion for political science, community/social impact and/or business law and an interest in learning key business process

Our External & Legislative Affairs - State Policy & Community Affairsinterns earn an annual salary between $53,900 - $80,900, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting pay within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
