AT&T, based in Washington, DC, invites rising seniors or recent graduates to its External & Legislative Affairs Corporate Internship. This 10–12 week program is onsite and designed to provide hands-on experience across AT&T business units while interacting with leadership and working on impactful projects.

You will research and develop reports, presentations and correspondence, attend professional development workshops, and build a network through multiple engagements.

Qualifications

• To be a rising senior or recent graduate in an undergraduate program with preferred concentrations such as Political Science, Public Policy, Business, Management, Communications, Pre-Law, Finance or related field; strong GPA valued.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Teams).
• Strong research, analytical and writing skills with interest in emerging technologies, including AI, and digital tools.
• Ability to draft presentations and correspondence for internal and external audiences.
• Strong prioritization, time management and organizational skills.
• Aptitude to respond to ambiguity and complexity; flexible in a fast-paced environment.

This is a full-time onsite role based in the location(s) posted and is performed from the designated work location five days per week. No relocation is offered.

The Corporate Internship with the External & Legislative Affairs department is designed for highly qualified undergraduate students and recent graduates interested in future leadership opportunities. During this 10-12 week summer program, you’ll gain hands‑on experience working with industry leaders by way of a multitude of opportunities.

Our External & Legislative Affairs - Corporateinterns earn an annual salary between $53,900 - $80,900, not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting pay within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
