Live! Casino & Hotel in Maryland is seeking a Surveillance Supervisor to lead a team of surveillance professionals and protect guests, staff and assets.

You will oversee real-time monitoring, enforce state regulations and internal controls, and guide staff with clear leadership to maintain a safe and fair gaming environment. The role requires strong CCTV operation, reporting skills, and knowledge of table games, with opportunities for scheduling and staff development in a fast‑paced, 24/7

Qualifications

• Minimum four years experience in casino surveillance with two years in a supervisory role.
• Must obtain and maintain Maryland license per regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Observe activities on the casino floor, cage, count rooms via CCTV for violations and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor safety hazards in casino areas to protect guests and staff.
• Operate monitor room equipment.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain documentation.
• Supervise surveillance team on procedures to protect assets and enforce internal controls.
• Assist in scheduling and training of staff.
• Maintain thorough knowledge of table games and all gaming/non-gaming departments.
• Report violations and suspicious activity to management.
• Review actions and processes with Surveillance Management.
• Meet with department leaders as needed.

Responsibilities

Where You'll Make an Impact:

• Observe all activities of guest and team members on the casino floor, cage, change booths, and count rooms via the closed-circuit television system for criminal activities and/or violation of the state lottery and gaming commission regulations as well as company policies and procedures.
• Observe areas of the casino, atrium, and parking areas for safety hazards to ensure the safety and security of all guests and employees.
• Operate monitor room equipment.
• Complete proper reports and documentation as needed.
• Supervises department team members on procedures for protecting casino assets and internal controls to ensure the safety and security of the team members and guests.
• Assist in scheduling and training of staff.
• Thorough working knowledge of all Table Games.
• Thorough working knowledge of all gaming and non-gaming departments.
• Report all violations and suspicious activity to management.
• Review surveillance department actions, personnel, and processes with Surveillance Management.
• Meet with departmental management and leaders as necessary.

Skills to Help You Succeed:

• Knowledge of computers and CCTV equipment.
• Must be able to read/write in the English language.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Qualifications

Must Haves:

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
• Minimum of four (4) year’s work experience in casino surveillance with at least two (2) years as a Supervisor or above.
• Willingness and ability to be flexible with work schedule. May require extended hours and work week from time to time.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the necessary license as mandated by the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
• Must be able to work in a confined space with low lighting.
• Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 30lbs.
• Must have excellent vision and hearing.
• Must be able to grasp, handle, and reach with hands and fingers.
• Stand and walk 30% of the time
• Use of stairs and elevators
