Job summary

Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia is seeking a Security Shift Manager to oversee the security team on a given shift, ensuring guest and team member safety and protecting Live assets.

You will manage programs and procedures, investigate incidents, and support training while coordinating with directors and department heads. The role requires 3+ years supervisory security or law enforcement, 3+ years casino experience, and a 4-year degree or equivalent work history; vaccination per policy.

Qualifications

• A minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience in security or law enforcement.
• Ability to perform under frequent time pressures and deadlines.
• Ability to maintain mental concentration for extended periods.
• Experience in a casino environment is required.
• Must comply with state gaming regulations, including possible licensing.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

Where You'll Make an Impact

• Manages programs, processes and procedures which ensures the protection of the assets of Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia to include the safety and security of guests and team members. Manage programs and processes to reduce and control loss time injuries.
• Communicate and implement department procedure in accordance with director and internal controls.
• Assist in development and implementation of Security Department training.
• Investigate incidents and/or quests complaints, compiling data for accurate reports to the Gaming Commission and department heads.
• Completes and investigates first report on injury
• Provides input and assists with the preparation of performance reviews of supervisors and officers.
• Other duties as assigned.

A Few Must Haves

• Casino is over 300,000 square feet and requires ability and energy to move about it with a true sense of urgency.
• Ability to be alert at all times.
• Dexterity will be required to perform day to day activities and during an emergency.
