Job summary

Peraton in Bethesda, MD is seeking a Technical Surveillance Countermeasures Professional to join our team. This role focuses on developing, implementing, and maintaining TSCM programs and capabilities, and conducting physical and technical assessments.

You will perform TSCM inspections and TEMPEST surveys, conduct acoustic testing for ICD 705 waivers, and research policy at the agency and ICD level. A BA or higher with relevant experience and TSCM certification are required.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• BA or higher with years experience as stated; may accept additional four years in lieu of degree.
• TSCM certification with TEMPEST experience.
• Expert knowledge of RF, DF, wireless communications, and TSCM procedures.

Job Description:

• Perform Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) inspections and TEMPEST surveys.
• Conduct acoustic testing to determine ICD 705 waiver requirements.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
• Requires a BA degree and 8-12 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 6-10 years of prior relevant experience. However an additional four years of experience can be accepted in lieu of a Bachelors degree.
• TSCM Certified with experience in TEMPEST assessments.
• Expert-level knowledge of radio frequencies, direction-finding procedures, wireless communications, and general TSCM procedures and processes.
• General knowledge of counterintelligence investigations, insider threat operations, physical security and anti-terrorism requirements, cybersecurity, digital forensics, and IT infrastructure.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in a relevant field.
• Proficiency in conducting radio frequency directions, finding missions to identify unauthorized transmitting devices.
• Experience providing technical security, subject matter expert input to designated IC working groups.
• Experience developing and disseminating workforce education for counterintelligence and security.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working within or alongside the Intelligence Community (IC).

Target Salary Range

$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
