Our Global client in the tech industry is seeking an External Communications Manager.

Position: External Communications Manager

Location: Remote in CA

Contract duration: 6 months.

Pay Range: $88-103 on hourly basis.

Project Overview

As an External Communications Associate, you drive measurable outcomes for an external communications program and ensure the development of long-term strategic plans that match its overarching business goals.

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities

• Drive the creation of high-quality external content pipelines, including blog posts, social media updates, talking points, and media briefing materials.
• Partner with engineering, product, and cross-functional leadership to discover, shape, and scale impactful stories around AI.
• Proactively manage and cultivate strategic relationships with key AI reporters, tech journalists, and industry influencers.

Mandatory Skills/Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related field (or in lieu of a degree, an additional 5+ years of relevant work experience).
• At least 7+ years of direct professional work experience in technology communications.
• Familiarity with artificial intelligence, machine learning, and autonomous driving technology topics.

Non-Essential Skills/Qualifications

• Experience working in a fast-paced tech startup environment
• Familiarity with the AV industry and surrounding regulations
