Job summary

Russell Tobin is seeking a Business Development Manager for our client, an American multinational technology company, in New York, NY. This hybrid role requires coordinating with product, partnerships, marketing, legal, finance, and engineering to drive strategic partnerships.

You will lead partnership initiatives, analyze markets, track KPIs, and support negotiation and implementation of long-term and test & learn deals.

Qualifications

Role: Business Development Manager Location: New York, NY- Hybrid (2,3 days/week onsite) Duration: 12 months contract the possibility of conversion Pay Rate: $100/hour - $110/hour w2 DOE

About the role:

• We are seeking a Product Business Development Manager to support the Family of Apps (FoA) Business Development team on a defined set of strategic partner initiatives.
• This role will contribute to the execution of business development strategy for Apps, supporting partnership solutions that address product problems and opportunities. This person will help manage large-scale partnerships, aligning solutions across product, partnerships, marketing, legal, finance and engineering, and will support negotiation and implementation of strategic partnerships.
• The ideal candidate brings solid experience in product partnerships, business development and cross-functional collaboration in technology. They apply deep subject matter expertise to problems that require conceptual thinking and an in-depth understanding of organizational objectives, and they have the judgment to define the right approach in situations where the path is not yet clear.
• This is an individual contributor role. We are looking for someone that will drive key partnership initiatives, contribute to strategy, and provide analysis and recommendations

• 6+ years of experience in tech, business development or a related field
• Subject matter expertise in technology, entertainment and product integrations
• Knowledge of social media, digital business models and internet/consumer technology
• Experience solving complex problems under tight timelines
• Skill in communication & consensus-building
• Experience building & presenting pitch & briefing materials
• BS or BA

Responsibilities: Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in matrixed organizations in a multi-disciplinary capacity
• Entrepreneurial, persistent, and resourceful, with the experience learning quickly about new technologies
• Experience successfully navigating a fast-paced, highly ambiguous environment
• MBA or JD

Good to have skills:

• Experience in business development and negotiation. Proven deal-making background with experience handling zero-to-one custom deals with major tech platforms.
• A solid understanding of how big tech operates and the infrastructure used across large organizations.
• Experience working effectively across teams such as product, engineering, legal, operations, compliance, and marketing
