AdventHealth is seeking a strategic Communications Leader to advance national and local media engagement, elevate the organization’s brand, and strengthen executive communications. You will guide a team to craft compelling narratives across traditional and digital channels, aligning with patient-centered care and community health goals.

The role requires a proven track record in crisis management, strong writing and public speaking skills, and the ability to operate in a matrix environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, public relations or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in corporate communications, media/public relations or equivalent.
• Experience in an integrated communications department with collaboration across functions.
• Experience leading communications teams in large organizations.
• Experience planning and overseeing external events with strong media presence.

Responsabilités

• Develops market/division-wide communications strategy to position AdventHealth.
• Provides direction for communications to media, team members, external stakeholders.
• Leads media relations and digital storytelling opportunities; manages events and interviews.
• Counsels executives on issues management and messaging planning.
• Maximizes storytelling across traditional and new media; maintains media relationships.
