DCI Donor Services is seeking an External Affairs Director for New Mexico to expand community partnerships and raise organ/tissue donation awareness. The role involves public speaking, stakeholder engagement, and coordinating with government leaders to advocate for donation policies.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in marketing/communication, bilingual English/Spanish preferred, and a bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred). Travel is required and a valid driver’s license is expected.

Responsibilities

• Establishes relationships to raise organ/tissue donation awareness.
• Expand awareness through PR, digital, social media, and partnerships.
• Represent the organization at community and government events.
• Directs community relations programs to promote donation and save lives.
• Monitor and engage on legislative activities affecting donation.
• Collaborate with leadership on regulatory positions and messaging.
• Support senior leaders with talking points and crisis communications.
• Stay informed on donation industry trends and campaigns.
