Job summary

Sierra Donor Services - New Mexico (SDS), part of the DCI Donor Services family, seeks an External Affairs Coordinator in Las Cruces to lead community outreach, marketing and public relations to increase organ and tissue donation awareness.

The role requires strong communication, event planning, and partnership development, with local travel. Fluency in English is required and Spanish is desired. SDS offers competitive benefits and a mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• Three plus years experience in community outreach, event planning, public speaking, communication, management or marketing.
• Experience working with diverse communities is a plus.
• Fluency in English required; Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Raise awareness for organ and donation through community events, campaigns and presentations.
• Develop community and corporate partnerships to further the mission.
• Engage partners through social media, webinars, podcasts and other platforms.
• Coordinate opportunities for Donate Life Ambassadors to promote donor registrations.
• Other duties as assigned.
