Walmart in Bangor, ME is hiring an Exterior Services Technician - DOT Operator to oversee landscape projects and maintain grounds year-round. You'll work with a dedicated team to ensure the exterior environment remains pristine.

Qualifications

• 21+ years of age
• Valid state-issued driver’s license
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English
• Ability to successfully complete a DOT physical and secure medical certification
• Clean driving record with no DUI/DWI within the last 3 years
• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years if operating a commercial motor vehicle
• 2 years’ experience in the landscaping/gardening industry
• Preferred: Associate’s degree or equivalent in Engineering/Maintenance/Construction Management or related area
• Preferred: Experience in third-party management
• Preferred: Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
• Preferred: Spanish language ability
• Preferred: State/local licensing where required

Responsibilities

• Conduct grounds maintenance activities in parking lots, exterior buildings, and surrounding areas to uphold cleanliness standards
• Work alongside fellow associates to manage all aspects of landscaping and exterior maintenance
• Adhere to safety, security, and regulatory protocols per corporate policies and local/state/federal requirements
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations and guidelines
• Evaluate landscaping needs and implement sustainable upgrades
