Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Quality/Manufacturing Analyst to review dealer claims and analyze exterior part performance, driving KPI improvements. You will investigate root causes, coordinate countermeasures, and report results to cross-functional teams.

You will test returned parts, audit assembly processes, and maintain comprehensive records while communicating findings for continuous quality enhancement. Travel may be required as needed to support global manufacturing efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with 2–5 years in manufacturing.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Flexible schedule to work overtime, holidays and weekends as required.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
• Experience analyzing warranty, dealer claim, PDI, or customer quality data is preferred.
• Knowledge of structured problem-solving methods, including 5 Why and fishbone analysis.

Responsibilities

• Review dealer claim and PDI data to analyze exterior part performance and KPI opportunities.
• Evaluate returned exterior parts, test against specs, and identify root causes.
• Audit assembly processes to identify root causes and coordinate countermeasures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions.
• Maintain records of dealer claim concerns, investigations, and countermeasures.
• Generate reports on dealer claim trends and quality risks for corrective actions.
• Work on complex problem solving from production or dealer claim inputs.
