Job summary

Kia Georgia, Inc. is seeking a quality analytics specialist to review dealer claims related to exterior parts, analyze causes, and coordinate effective countermeasures.

You will report improvement results and coordinate across teams to ensure containment and prevention of defects. Responsibilities include data review, root-cause analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to implement corrective actions across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with 2–5 years of manufacturing experience (automotive preferred).
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Flexible schedule to work overtime, holidays and weekends as required.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
• Experience analyzing warranty, dealer claim, PDI, or customer quality data is preferred.
• Knowledge of structured problem-solving methods (5 Why, fishbone, etc.).
• Strong data-analysis, technical reporting, and presentation skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional investigations and follow corrective actions to closure.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, inspection standards, and technical reports.

Responsibilities

• Review Dealer Claim and PDI data to analyze exterior part performance and KPI improvement.
• Test parts against specifications to identify failure modes and root causes; coordinate countermeasure implementation.
• Audit assembly processes to identify root causes of dealer claim concerns and report findings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate root causes and implement countermeasures.
• Maintain records of dealer claim concerns, investigations, and countermeasures with status updates.
• Generate reports to identify dealer claim trends and quality risks for corrective actions.
• Handle complex problems from production or dealer inputs as assigned.
