  • Ensure cleanliness and safe operations of work areas.
  • Adhere to all regulatory, department, and company policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary:

  • Provide friendly, fast, and helpful customer service to all guests and team members.
  • Provide security for casino property; maintains high visibility, handles problem situations, watches for safety hazards, and provides assistance during emergencies.
  • Patrol parking lots and property.
  • Contact all persons or vehicles displaying suspicious behavior.
  • Provide escorts as needed.
  • Oversee customer presence on property to include: provide crowd control, direct traffic, check I.D., provide line management when elevators congest and check for items not allowed on casino property.
  • Communicate all concerns regarding building maintenance/safety concerns to Facilities.
  • Provide waters to guests as needed.
  • Pick up trash and ensure cleanliness of property.
  • Provide assistance to customers: answer questions, handle complaints, call for cabs, etc.
  • Report accidents and incidents in both written and verbal form. Collect and compile investigation as needed. Write detailed reports as required for incidents involving law violations and/or violations of company policy and procedure.
  • Testify in court when necessary.
  • Meet department uniform, appearance, and grooming requirements.
  • Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris, and litter.
  • Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Must adhere to regulatory, department and company policies.
  • Perform other job related and compatible duties as assigned
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Must be able to run on level surfaces, as well as up and down stairs
  • Ability to identify and quickly respond to potential problems and conflicts; and defend self and others in combative situations
  • Ability to effectively and efficiently move around all work areas including walking and standing for long periods of time

  • Must be able to earn and maintain an American Heart Association CPR/AED and First Aid certification
  • Must have valid driver’s license and acceptable driving history.
  • Ability to earn and maintain TiPS certification
  • Must be able to acquire and maintain appropriate gaming license
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Employee must be able to qualify for licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations.

  • Must obtain a First Aid/AED certification. Must successfully complete C.A.R.E or TIPS training.
  • Ability to earn and maintain RBS Certification within 60 days of employment
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and have acceptable driving history.
LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents in English, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in English may also be required.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Possess ability to operate an adding machine and have basic computer skills.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
