Job summary

G-Tech is seeking a Product Development Engineer to lead cross-functional teams in the design, development, and release of exterior hardware mechatronic components. You will drive engineering changes, improve product quality, and ensure timely delivery within vehicle programs.

You will collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to achieve program milestones, manage warranty-related issues, and coordinate hardware releases across multiple programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering required.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of product design and development processes.
• Experience with DFMEA, GD&T, and DFSS.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to interpret and manage engineering change processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams to support exterior hardware mechatronic components.
• Author Engineering Change Requests to support design updates.
• Track, analyze, and reduce warranty issues for assigned components.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to meet program timing.
• Coordinate with program teams to ensure timely release of hardware.
• Oversee integration of closure hardware into vehicle platforms.
• Lead supplier engagements to drive action items and milestones.
• Support current production and future programs including root cause analysis.
