Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Product Engineer in Dearborn, MI for a 12-month assignment. The role focuses on feasibility between Design & Release Eng and Studio Eng to guide surface creation and ensure alignment with engineering requirements.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and 5+ years in Body Exterior design/release, with strong CAD skills including CATIA. Prior studio experience and cross-functional collaboration are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• 5+ years of Design & Release, Design Studio, Integration or related experience in Body Exterior
• Strong CAD skills and experience with CATIA/3DX/TeamCenter is a plus

Responsibilities

• Serve as feasibility leader between Design & Release Engineering and Studio Engineering
• Help establish engineering hard points to guide Studio’s Class A Surface Creation
• Assess Studio Surface Release to engineering requirements and coordinate with D&R Engineers and Suppliers
• Part of a core Co-Creation team to resolve gaps between Studio Surface and Engineering requirements
