Walmart is seeking a Technician, Facility Services, Exterior Services-DOT in Titusville, FL to manage exterior facility operations, oversee seasonal maintenance, and lead third-party providers. The role emphasizes safety, compliance with OSHA/EPA standards, and cost control through procurement and warranties.

You will operate heavy equipment, perform inspections, manage budgets, and implement sustainability improvements to reduce operating costs while maintaining high-quality exterior

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years old or older.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license.
• No DUI, DWI, OUI, or reckless driving within the last three years.
• No more than two moving violations in the last three years (CMV if applicable).
• Successful completion of a DOT physical and medical certification pre-hire.
• Ability to read and speak English.
• 2 years’ experience in landscaping/gardening.

Responsabilités

• Operate and maintain heavy machinery and powered equipment following safety protocols and certification requirements.
• Perform seasonal exterior maintenance including snow and ice management to ensure safe facility conditions.
• Conduct quality assurance inspections and troubleshoot facility issues to meet operational standards.
• Manage vehicle maintenance, safety checks, and documentation to ensure readiness and compliance.
• Coordinate purchases of parts, tools, and equipment while controlling costs and submitting warranty claims.
• Lead and develop third-party providers and associates through coaching and performance evaluations.
• Implement upgrades and improvements to enhance facility sustainability and reduce operating expenses.
