Job summary

Walmart in Chattanooga, TN seeks an Associate to maintain exterior services and landscaping across the designated area. This role also involves DOT driving responsibilities and occasional support for facility repair teams.

You will operate heavy machinery, perform seasonal snow/ice tasks, manage supplies and budgets, and ensure safety and compliance with OSHA and EPA guidelines. A valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and 2 years in landscaping are required.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older.
• Valid state-issued driver's license.
• No convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI, or reckless driving involving alcohol or drugs within the last three (3) years.
• No more than two (2) moving violations in the last three (3) years, if driving a commercial motor vehicle.
• No serious traffic violations (as defined by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations) in the last three (3) years, if operating a commercial motor vehicle.
• No preventable accidents (as defined by Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations) in the last three (3) years, if operating a commercial motor vehicle.
• Successful completion of a DOT physical and medical certification pre- hire.
• As required by section 391.11(b)(2) of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, ability to read and speak in the English language.
• 2 years’ experience in the landscaping/gardening industry

Responsibilities

• Maintain exterior service areas and landscaping per Walmart guidelines.
• Operate DOT-compliant vehicles and heavy machinery safely.
• Coordinate with team lead and third-party providers.
• Prepare and manage budgets for projects and purchases.
