Job summary

The Walmart Exterior Service Associate provides upkeep of Walmart facilities and landscaping, supporting exterior services within the assigned area in Chattanooga, TN. The role includes mowing, weed treatment, snow events, and safe operation of vehicles and heavy equipment under DOT guidelines.

You’ll work under a team lead, ensuring safety, cost control, and quality. Prior landscaping or maintenance experience and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience in landscaping/gardening.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet DOT requirements.
• DOT physical and MEC certification pre-hire may be required.
• Ability to read and speak English.
• 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Operate the department and follow Walmart policies and safety standards.
• Lead third-party providers and conduct performance evaluations.
• Provide customer service and resolve issues and complaints.
• Maintain exterior services including landscaping, snow, and equipment.
• Ensure vehicle maintenance and safe operation of heavy machinery.
