Job summary

Walmart leads the way in exterior facility services. The Lead Technician, Facility Services - Exterior Services oversees landscape maintenance, seasonal tasks, and equipment operation at Walmart locations in the US. You will guide associates to safe, efficient exterior upkeep aligned with company goals.

You will train staff, manage budgets, coordinate with third-party providers, and drive continuous improvements to maintain high safety and quality standards across facilities.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in the landscaping/gardening industry.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical and obtain MEC card if required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to read/speak English and follow safety regs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coach associates; assign duties and monitor performance.
• Train on policies, procedures, and external regulations (OSHA/DOT).
• Manage landscape maintenance, seasonal exterior tasks, pest control.
• Operate and maintain heavy machinery; ensure safety documentation.
• Coordinate budgets and equipment purchases for improvements.
• Lead teams to meet priorities; promote continuous improvement.
