Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
• 8+ years of vehicle design experience in exterior trim.
• Knowledge of design considerations for plastic/composite components.
• NHSTA/FMVSS knowledge related to exterior components.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of exterior components and assemblies.
• Develop and implement functional objectives to meet project performance targets.
• Manage exterior component development for performance, cost, mass, timing and manufacturability.
• Lead collaboration between internal/external teams and suppliers to meet project requirements.
