Job summary

Konik is partnering with a well-respected commercial construction firm to add a Project Manager to their team in Bloomington, MN. The role focuses on exterior construction and will manage multiple commercial projects from planning through closeout, emphasizing safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has hands-on PM experience in exterior or commercial construction, strong leadership and communication skills, knowledge of codes and permits, and proficiency with Procore or

Qualifications

• 2+ years of project management experience in exterior or commercial construction.
• Experience with Procore or BuilderTrend.
• Familiarity with local building codes, permitting, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
• Oversee exterior construction activities (roofing, siding, widows and gutters), ensuring quality, safety, and adherence to specifications.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, architects, and suppliers to ensure projects stay on track.
• Monitor progress through site visits, addressing issues and implementing solutions proactively.
• Manage budgets, control costs, review invoices, and identify opportunities for efficiency.
• Lead project closeout activities, including punch lists, inspections, client handovers, and reporting lessons learned.
• Maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
