Job summary

Konik, partnering with a well-respected construction company in Minnesota, seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead commercial projects from preconstruction through closeout, coordinating with clients, design teams, trade partners, and internal staff.

The role focuses on delivering projects on time, on budget, and to quality standards, ensuring smooth operations and proactive client communication. 5+ years of PM experience in commercial construction is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
• Solid understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and cost management.
• Highly organized and proactive with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Experience with PM software (Procore, Sage) and MS Office.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record and ability to pass an MVR screening.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Valid DOT Medical Card or ability to obtain one if required.

Responsibilities

• Communicate project status, schedules, and updates with clients, field staff, and trade partners.
• Maintain project schedules and coordinate tasks for efficient workflow.
• Monitor budgets and assist in cost tracking, ensuring project scopes align with financial targets.
• Collaborate with estimators to validate project estimates and review scopes of work.
• Assist in preparing change orders and ensure approvals are in place before execution.
• Secure necessary permits and schedule inspections.
• Lead and coordinate job supervisors and field staff to achieve project objectives.
• Participate in project meetings and support collections of receivables when needed.
• Apply practical construction knowledge to solve site issues and keep projects moving forward.

Konik is partnering with a well-respected construction company voted in the Top 200 Workplace in Minnesota, seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead commercial projects.This role focuses on leading commercial projects from preconstruction through closeout, collaborating with clients, design teams, trade partners, and internal staff. You will help ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to quality standards, while facilitating smooth operations and client communication.

Senior Project Manager Responsibilities:
