Job summary

Qualifications

• 3+ years estimating experience in commercial glazing, curtain wall, storefront, façade, or building envelope construction.
• Strong understanding of construction documents, drawings, and specs.
• Experience with quantity takeoffs, pricing, and bid development.
• Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines concurrently.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and focused on accuracy and competitiveness.

Responsibilities

• Review architectural drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Perform quantity takeoffs for curtain wall, storefront, and window systems.
• Prepare conceptual, budgetary, negotiated, and hard-bid estimates.
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Develop labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor pricing.
• Coordinate with engineering, operations, and project management during preconstruction.
• Support design-assist and negotiated project pursuits.
• Prepare bid packages, proposals, and supporting documentation.

Are you an experienced Estimator with a background in commercial glazing, curtain wall, storefront, or building envelope systems?

We're partnering with a leading commercial glazing contractor seeking a talented Estimator to join their growing preconstruction team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile commercial projects across healthcare, higher education, corporate, mixed-use, and institutional sectors while collaborating with engineering, operations, project management, and field installation teams.

What You'll Be Doing

• Review architectural drawings, specifications, and contract documents
• Perform quantity takeoffs for:
  • Curtain Wall Systems
  • Storefront Systems
  • Windows & Entrances
• Prepare conceptual, budgetary, negotiated, and hard-bid estimates
• Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations
• Develop labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor pricing
• Analyze project risks, exclusions, and value engineering opportunities
• Coordinate with engineering, operations, and project management teams throughout the preconstruction process
• Support design‑assist and negotiated project pursuits
• Prepare bid packages, proposals, and supporting documentation

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of estimating experience in commercial glazing, curtain wall, storefront, façade, or building envelope construction
• Strong understanding of commercial construction documents, drawings, and specifications
• Experience with quantity takeoffs, pricing, and bid development
• Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously
