Job summary

The Chronicle Of Higher Education, Inc. is seeking an Assistant/Associate Professor of Practice – Extension 4-H Youth Development Specialist (Non-tenure track, twelve‑month).

The role centers on Agricultural Literacy and statewide Extension programs. Based at NC A&T State University Cooperative Extension, the successful candidate will lead program development, delivery, and evaluation for limited-resource youth, in partnership with schools and community organizations.

Qualifications

• Earned doctorate in Agricultural Education, Extension Education, Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, Youth Development or related field.
• Applicants with a doctorate in progress will be considered.
• Degree must be completed by date of hire.

Responsibilities

• Lead Agricultural Literacy programs for K-12 youth and communities.
• Deliver statewide Extension programs via NC Cooperative Extension.
• Develop, manage, implement and evaluate research-based programs.
• Provide training and educational materials for field staff and clientele.
• Align activities with the NC Cooperative Extension mission and objectives.
