Qualifications

• PDE Certification in Business/Computer and Information Technology PK-12, or ability to obtain emergency certification.
• Experience in classroom instruction and student assessment.
• Knowledge of curriculum planning and classroom management.

Responsibilities

• Meets and instructs assigned classes in the location and times designated.
• Plans a program of study that meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities of the students.
• Creates a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of the students.
• Prepares for classes assigned and shows written evidence of preparation upon request.
• Encourages students to set and maintain standards of classroom behavior.
• Guides learning toward curriculum goals and communicates clear objectives to students.
• Employs instructional techniques and media appropriate to the location and student needs.
• Assesses student progress and provides progress reports as required.
• Maintains accurate records as required by law, district policy, and administrative regulation.
• Assists administration in implementing policies and maintaining classroom order.
