Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Meet and instruct assigned classes at the designated times.
• Plan a program of study to meet individual student needs.
• Create a conducive classroom environment for learning.
• Prepare for assigned classes with written evidence upon request.
• Encourage students to maintain standards of classroom behavior.
• Guide the learning process to achieve curriculum goals.
• Employ instructional techniques consistent with student needs.
• Implement the district's philosophy of education and goals.
• Assess student accomplishments and provide required progress reports.
• Protect students and materials.
• Maintain accurate and complete records as required.
• Assist administration in implementing policies and rules.
• Be available to students and parents outside instructional hours.
• Maintain and improve professional competence.
• Attend staff meetings and serve on committees as required.
