Job summary

Achievement Prep, a Southeast Washington, DC area charter school network, seeks an Extended Learning Assistant Group Leader to provide targeted academic support and enrichment for Pre-K–8th grade.

You will work after school hours with a collaborative team, help manage records, participate in professional development, and have the option to work full-time during June–August for summer programming.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Demonstrated ability to create a positive, productive program culture.
• Willing to obtain CPR/First Aid certification if not already.
• Must meet OSSE state childcare licensing requirements, including background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted academic support in math, literacy, science and social studies.
• Lead extended learning sessions before/after school.
• Maintain accurate records of scholar performance and attendance.
• Collaborate with teachers, families and staff to create a safe learning environment.
• Participate in professional development and coaching sessions.
