Job summary

Nisga'a CIOPS, LLC seeks an Expungement Processor to manage the DoD Department of the Air Force expungement, challenge, and corrections program. The role ensures requests are processed accurately and timely, aligning with DoD and DAF policy, and supports policy development and audit responses.

The position collaborates with AFCJIC leadership and policy teams to oversee compliance and reporting, ensuring accurate handling of expungement reviews and inquiries.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of common criminal justice system terminology and processes.
• Strong attention to detail, documentation, and adherence to established timelines and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Administration of the DAF expungement program and related processes.
• Develops and updates AFCJIC policy and procedures for expungement requests.
• Collaborates with AFCJIC Policy Manager to review DoW and DAF expungement guidance.
• Advices on policy concerning expungement or correction of indexing records.
• Coordinate with AFCJIC Audit Program Manager on compliance and reporting.
• Responds to Congressional, FOIA, Agency Release, DoW, and DAF inquiries about the expungement program.
• Process expungement requests within established timelines and notify results to requestors.
• Oversee submission of corrective notices to agencies holding DAF indexing records.
