Job summary

First Team Automotive Group in Hampton, VA is seeking an Express Technician to support our service operation and customer experience. You’ll gain hands-on experience, paid manufacturer training, and ASE certification assistance while pursuing a defined career path toward becoming a Certified Service Technician.

Qualifications

• ASE Certifications preferred.
• Ability to perform basic automotive maintenance and service repair.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacements, and fluid services.
• Inspect vehicles and identify repair opportunities for service advisors and customers.
• Document services using manufacturer software and dealership systems.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in a clean, safe condition.
• Participate in manufacturer training and ASE certification programs.
