Job summary

First Team Automotive Group in Chesapeake, VA is seeking an Express Technician to support the service department and contribute to an excellent ownership experience. You will perform routine maintenance, document work using dealer software, and participate in manufacturer training to advance toward becoming a Certified Service Technician.

Qualifications

• ASe Certifications preferred.
• State Inspector's License preferred.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacements, fluid services, and multi‑point inspections.
• Inspect vehicles for maintenance needs and identify repair opportunities for service advisors and customers.
• Operate manufacturer software and dealership technology to accurately document completed services.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean, safe, and organized condition.
• Participate in manufacturer training, ASE certification programs, and ongoing technical development.
• Assist Service Technicians with vehicle repairs while developing advanced diagnostic and repair skills.
• Follow dealership safety procedures and manufacturer repair standards.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by performing every service accurately, efficiently, and professionally.
