Morrie’s Minnetonka Mazda in Minnetonka, MN is hiring an automotive technician. The position is full-time with an hourly wage range of $17.00 to $20.00.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing engine, transmission, electrical, and braking systems, performing tests, and writing repair estimates. Formación

• Entry-level knowledge of cars highly preferred
• Able to pass background check

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose and repair problems with engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and related systems
• Test to ensure systems and components are secure and functioning
• Test drive vehicle or use diagnostic equipment
• Maintain accuracy and efficiency in diagnosing and repairing vehicles
• Follow a checklist to inspect critical parts
• Inspect hoses, belts, plugs, fuel systems, brakes and other items
• Use power tools to remove bolts and rebuild brakes
• Use machine tools to rebuild brakes
• Use hand tools for small parts
• Write vehicle damage repair estimates

Roles & Responsibilities

• Responsible for diagnosing and repairing problems with the engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and similar systems.-
• Testing to check whether systems and components are secure and are working properly.
• Driving the vehicle for testing purposes or using various equipment, including hand-held and onboard compression gauges or diagnostic computers.
• Maintaining efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing as well as repairing vehicles.
• Following a checklist in ensuring that, they examine each critical part of the vehicle.
• Watching or inspecting closely parts like hoses, belts, plugs, fuel systems, brakes, and other possible troublesome items.
• Using power tools like pneumatic wrenches in order to remove bolts easily and quickly.
• Using machine tools, such as grinding machines and lathes to rebuild brakes.
• Using common hand tools like screwdrivers, wrenches, and pliers, to work on small-scale parts.
• Writing vehicle damage repair estimates
