Job summary

Group 1 Toyota Hub City, part of Group 1 Automotive, is seeking ExpressLube Technicians to join our service team. You will perform oil changes, fluid services and routine maintenance while ensuring quality workmanship and high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic automotive knowledge of engines, brakes, tires and fluids.
• Willingness to learn and follow shop procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, fluid services, and routine vehicle maintenance efficiently and accurately, following dealership and factory standards
• Inspect vehicles for basic safety and maintenance items including tires, brakes, belts, hoses, and filters
• Rotate tires and check/adjust tire pressures
• Document all services performed and inspection findings accurately
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Road-test vehicles when necessary to verify completed work
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
• Provide timely updates to service advisors regarding vehicle status and recommended services
• Participate in ongoing training to expand technical knowledge and skill set
• Uphold company values in all interactions with customers, coworkers, and vendors

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver license.
• Basic understanding of automotive systems (engine, brakes, tires, fluids)
• Ability to perform routine maintenance services, including:
• Oil and filter changes
• Tire rotation and pressure checks
• Fluid checks and top‑offs (transmission, coolant, brake, power steering)
• Battery testing and replacement
• Visual inspections of belts, hoses, and filters
• Familiarity with basic hand and power tools
• Ability to follow manufacturer and shop service procedures
