Job summary

Audi Parker in Colorado is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to perform repairs and maintenance per dealer and manufacturer specifications. You will diagnose vehicle systems, test components, and communicate with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Dexterity and steady hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to learn new technology and repair procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and manufacturer.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C, etc.
• Communicate with Service Advisor so customers are informed if additional service is needed.
• Provide an accurate time estimate for additional repairs.

Experience & Qualifications Needed:

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination
• Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
• Excellent customer service skills and proficient computer competencies
• Positive, friendly attitude, along with an eagerness to improve
• Teammate with ability to collaborate with others effectively
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures, and specifications

Essential Duties and Major Responsibilities:

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and manufacturer
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed
• Provide an accurate estimate of time needed for additional repairs
