Job summary

Rountree Moore Ford in Sarasota, FL is seeking entry-level Lube Technicians to learn and advance through a state-registered apprenticeship program. We promote from within and value reliability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic.

You’ll perform express services, check fluid levels and tire pressures, reset oil reminder lights, and document findings in our digital inspection system. ASE certifications are recognized and ASE testing is paid for.

Responsibilities

• Perform express services in a timely manner.
• Check and top off all fluid levels and tire pressures on every vehicle serviced.
• Reset oil reminder lights and replace oil change reminder stickers.
• Lubricate suspension fittings and door hinges.
• Document findings in the digital inspection report format.
• Provide the inspection report to the Service Advisor for review with the customer.

Responsibilities Include:

• Perform express services in a timely manner.
• Check and top off all fluid levels and tire pressures on every vehicle serviced.
• Reset oil reminder lights and replace oil change reminder stickers
• Lubricate every suspension fitting and door hinge.
• Perform general visual inspections and document the findings on the provided digital inspection report format.
• Perform all required service in the allotted amount of time management has assigned to the service.
• Provide the Service Advisor with the inspection report for review with the customer in timely manner.
• Report all safety concerns to the Service Manager or Shop Foreman in the event of an equipment failure.
• Keep work area clean at all times
• Experience would be beneficial but not required to have this opportunity
