Job summary

Don Mealey's Sport Auto Group in the Central Florida area is seeking an Express Auto Technician to troubleshoot and repair vehicles as assigned. You will inspect engines, mechanical and electrical components, and computer/electronic systems, performing routine maintenance to ensure longevity and reliability.

The role requires accurate repair estimates, road testing when needed, and active participation in ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Troubleshoot issues and fix/repair vehicles as assigned.
• Inspect engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately.
• Inspect computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade.
• Conduct routine maintenance work to improve vehicle functionality and longevity.
• Provide accurate estimates for a repair or maintenance job.
• Road test vehicles as required or refer to the test technician.
• Participate in and utilize technical training as assigned.
• Ensure timely return of the customer vehicle in top condition after service.
• Provide admin assistance to complete warranty repair orders and other tasks.

We are looking for skilled Express Auto Technician to join our teams. Your main responsibility will be troubleshooting issues and fixing/repairing vehicles as assigned.

In addition:

• Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately
• Inspect computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade
• Conduct routine maintenance work aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity
• Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. leaks)
• Provide accurate estimates for a repair or maintenance job
• Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements and published procedures
• Road test vehicles when required or refers to the test technician
• Participate in and utilize technical training as assigned
• Ensure the return of the customer vehicle is timely and in top functionality as prior to being serviced
• Provide the administrative assistance necessary to complete warranty repair orders and other tasks assigned for completion of vehicle repair
