Job summary

Don Mealey Sport Auto Group in Central Florida is seeking skilled auto technicians (A or B level) to troubleshoot and repair vehicles. You will inspect engines, mechanical and electrical systems, and perform routine maintenance to ensure performance and longevity.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, repairing or replacing parts, providing repair estimates, and completing work safely. PTO, holidays, training, and 401(k) benefits are offered, with a focus on quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Strong diagnostic and repair abilities.

Responsibilities

• Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical systems to diagnose issues.
• Inspect computer and electronic systems for repairs, maintenance and upgrades.
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure vehicle longevity and functionality.
• Repair or replace faulty parts and leaks; provide accurate repair estimates.
• Complete work according to safety requirements and procedures.
• Road test vehicles when required.
• Support warranty repair orders and related tasks.
• Demonstrate workmanship quality and pride in results.

We are looking for skilled A or B level Auto Technician to join our teams. Your main responsibility will be troubleshooting issues and fixing/repairing vehicles as assigned.

In addition:

• Inspect vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately
• Inspect computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade
• Conduct routine maintenance work aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity
• Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. leaks)
• Provide accurate estimates for a repair or maintenance job
• Complete all work according to the applicable safety requirements and published procedures
• Road test vehicles when required or refers to the test technician
• Participate in and utilize technical training as assigned
• Ensure the return of the customer vehicle is timely and in top functionality as prior to being serviced
• Provide the administrative assistance necessary to complete warranty repair orders and other tasks assigned for completion of vehicle repair
