Job summary

Dahl Express Winona is seeking an Express Service Technician to join our automotive service team. This role offers hands-on repair and maintenance work as part of a legacy of over 100 years in the Dahl Auto family.

Compensation starts at $18-$20 per hour based on experience and qualifications. The ideal candidate understands automobiles, can perform routine maintenance like oil changes, and uses electronic diagnostic equipment.

Qualifications

• Understanding of automobiles and speedy diagnostic abilities.
• Effective analytical and communication skills and eagerness to improve.
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications.
• Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
• High School Diploma or GED (required).

Responsibilities

• Accurately document and complete all work outlined on repair orders.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance services, including oil changes and air filter replacements.
• Inspect and maintain vehicle fluid levels by replenishing or replacing fluids as needed.
• Check and adjust tire pressure to ensure proper vehicle performance and safety.
• Collaborate with the Parts Department to obtain necessary parts and materials efficiently.
• Complete assigned repairs and maintenance tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
• Communicate effectively with Service Advisors to keep guests informed throughout the service process.
