Job summary

Tansky Sawmill Toyota is seeking an entry‑level automotive service technician. The role focuses on basic vehicle servicing, from oil changes to rotations, with emphasis on accuracy and efficiency in line with dealership standards.

The successful candidate will have an automotive background, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass pre‑employment screening. ASE certification is preferred, with opportunities for growth within a high‑volume service center.

Qualifications

• ASE certification preferred.
• Strong automotive background.
• Must have a clean and valid Driver’s License.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background & drug test).
• Must be at least eighteen years of age.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil and filter changes, tire rotations and light maintenance.
• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor and provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.

Responsibilities:

• Perform oil and filter changes, tire rotations and light maintenance
• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs

Qualifications:

• ASE certification preferred

• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background & drug test)
