Job summary

Village Pointe Toyota is seeking an experienced automotive technician to perform scheduled repairs efficiently and to dealership standards. You will test-drive vehicles, diagnose components with diagnostic tools, and repair systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.

Applicants should have ASE or factory training certification, a strong automotive background of 3+ years, and excellent teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications or factory training certification.
• 3+ years of strong automotive experience.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Willing to undergo drug screen and background check.
• Must have clean and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and diagnose components using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and A/C.
• Communicate with Service Advisor about needed additional services and time estimates.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Qualifications

• Strong automotive background of 3 + years
• Strong teamwork skills

• Must have clean & valid driver's license
