Job summary

Hall Nissan in Virginia Beach, part of MileOne Autogroup, is seeking a Quick Lube / Express Automotive Technician. You will perform light maintenance and repairs, including lube changes, tire rotation, and cooling system flushing, with paid training provided as you grow with us.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience as a technician's helper or apprentice in an automobile dealership or independent shop preferred
• Must have a valid and clean driver's license with 2 or fewer moving violations in the last 3 years and ALSO no major violations (DUI, reckless driving, etc.) in the last 3 years. Candidates under 21 years of age only allowed 1 moving violation and no major violations

Responsibilities

• Injects grease into units, such as springs, universal joints, and steering knuckles, using hand or compressed-air powered grease gun
• Inspects fluid levels of steering gear, power steering reservoir, transmission, differential, rear axle housings and shackles
• Checks air pressure of tires
• Lubricates moving parts with specific lubricants
• Drains oil from crankcase and refills with required amount of oil
• Replace oil and air filters
• Inspect all vehicles for additional repairs needed
