Job summary

Banister Nissan of Chesapeake is seeking an Express Lube Technician to join our Service Department. This is an entry-level opportunity with paid training; previous automotive experience is helpful but not required.

We’re looking for reliable, team‑oriented individuals who want to build a career in the automotive field. In this role you’ll perform routine maintenance such as oil changes and tire rotations, conduct multi‑point inspections, top up fluids, and help maintain accurate service records.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Automotive experience or technical training preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements.
• Conduct multi-point vehicle inspections.
• Check and replenish vehicle fluids as needed.
• Maintain accurate service documentation and repair orders.
• Follow manufacturer specifications and dealership procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Work collaboratively with the Service Advisors and Service Manager to ensure efficient service operations.
